Letting go!

We all have things that we hold in, that we do not think we can share our troubles with others. We walk through life saying “I am fine” without even batting an eye. We do not want to share what is really going on with the fear of being judged or for someone to turn around and tell someone else. Good thing is we have God to help us through our journey and our heart. Ask Holy Spirit what we are holding on to, for it to be revealed because sometimes we may not realize what it is. I went to a church event thinking I needed to let go of one thing, but it turned out to be something completely different. We have to really dig in, open our eyes, our ears, and our hearts.

Once you find what you are feeling, what you are holding in your heart then you need community to help you walk through that. When you find your community, find someone with the same mindset as you. Someone who goes to other God and godly people for guidance. Proverbs 15:13 says “a happy heart makes the heart cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.” Changing your mindset and exchanging all the hurt in your heart with goodness makes your whole outlook change. What you put off can change the whole dynamics of a situation. Do not let a situation get you down! Take it to Jesus, he wants to take those burdens from you. He died on the cross so you would not have to carry those bondages around. Cast them all to Jesus and pick up your cross! Let’s elevate you to the next level. God has great plans for you and first step to get to your blessings from God is letting go of all that hurt in your heart.

I want to challenge you, next time you are asked “how are you?” I want you to really examine your heart. Share how you are really feeling! If you need someone to reach out to, I will listen or point you in the right direction to someone to listen. Remember, you are loved and you are wanted. I want you to walk in freedom in this world! God bless and always pray through every situation. You are a warrior!
