I just finished my Christian Worldview class, and it really had me thinking about a lot of things. It spoke some of the fall, what brought on us not living in unity and peace. When Adam and Eve ate the apple from the forbidden tree, that is where sin was introduced into our world. God always gives us choices in life, it is up to us on what we do with our choices and making sure we ask for His will to be done. But when God takes us through hardships, we have to ask Him what He is telling us or what do we need to work on. There is always a plan that He has with everything we go through. My husband and I are going through a hardship and have been for some time, but I have learned so many things that I need to work on myself as well as things that I need to cut out. I fell that this hardship is coming to an end as my husband is now too realizing what God has been trying to tell him. But no matter of this hardship, God has always provided for us and made sure we were able to continue on. Our next chapter will be His way of giving us back ten fold, I believe that with my whole heart that He will reward us for our obedience. Romans 12:12 tells us to “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” So when going through trials and tribulations, do it with a happy heart knowing that God will bring us through it and the reward will be amazing. You have God’s attention, just trust Him and ask what it is that He is trying to tell you. Ask Him to search your heart. Lastly, when we go through trials and tribulations, try focusing on Him versus on our situation. It is when we take our eyes off of Him that things tend to go downhill.
Heavenly Father, I come to you with a thankful heart. Thankful for the blessing and the hardships that you have put me through so I can learn more about myself and how to live in your word, as well as learn more about you. Your Word says that I am to rejoice in hope that you are working on my behalf, to be patient, and to come to you in prayer instead of focusing on my problem. Lord, I now come to You and ask that if it is your will that my hardship be over Lord, I ask that you show me the way for that and that Your will be done in my situation. Lord I ask that You open my eyes, ears, and heart to hear You so that any step I take is a step in Your path for my life. Heavenly Father, thank you for Your constant love and grace. I love You and I just pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.
