My Protector

I tend to wonder if God hears me or if I am hearing Him. I was sitting doing some studying and started to have a feeling of anxiousness come over me. My spirit was just not sitting right, so I heard to put on my headphones and take a walk. The song I heard to listen to was Mighty Name of Jesus by The Belonging Co, Hope Darst. So as I had this song playing (by the way, if you have never heard this song, I highly recommend looking it up) I started to pray. I prayed that I would continue to have the full armor of God to protect me and my family. I was battling for my family, I repented and I prayed that Holy Spirit would fill me with His presence. So as I finish my prayer and I look up, I seen an armadillo. I could not help but smile because I knew that was God telling me that my family and I are protected and that I did not need to worry. That my husband and I are being obedient in what He is calling us to do and we are almost there to start this new chapter in our new home. We just have to keep pushing and having faith. When I say I could not stop smiling! I walked down the road finishing up that song worshiping and my spirit was better by Gods love and grace.

I share this to remind you that we have to pause and take time to listen to what God is telling us, to listen to what God is telling us to do. Had I not listened, I would not have put on my headphones, walked

down the road, and seen the kiss from God. Remember that there is hope in our trials. I promise you that Jesus is there for you, it just taking that step towards Him.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your guidance. I thank you for your reminders that You are with me wherever I go. Lord, I thank you for love and showing me what I need to do that is pleasing to You. Lord, I ask that You just continue to guide me and let the only steps I take be Your steps. Lord, let me see Your people the way You see them and break my heart for what breaks Yours. Lord, fill me with Your boldness, confidence, wisdom, discernment, self-control, and love. Lord, I love you and ask this all in Jesus name, Amen.
