Rebranding of the Heart: Live Like Charlie Kirk

I am back! I have been a little MIA due to no internet (as you can imaging, doing homework has been challenging). But I am finally back and what better time than now to get on here and just talk about a few things.

I know we have all heard about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. So I want to briefly dig into that and how it has changed me. First off, if you were for it and do not agree with my post, I am sorry. I pray that you stay around with an open mind and an open heart. That being said, let’s talk about this. Charlie was a godly man who walked out in his faith professing his love for Jesus while spreading truth as what it states in the Bible. He stood up for what was right and debated what was wrong in America. He never judged anyone, yelled at them, or talked down to them. His main focus was trying to put America back to what it used to be. My thoughts are very similar to his.

I really only want to talk about transgender right now though as it is the biggest thing in our country is what a teen identifies as. We are made in the image of God and should never want to change how He made us because He made us perfect in His sight. Children should never be steered or made to think that changing their identity is ok. Let’s face it, if you believe in science, then you know that a child’s brain is not fully developed until after they graduate. The complete development happens in mid 20’s and this part of the brain helps with decision making, impulse control, and planning. Do you see where I am going with this? Us as parents have to teach our kids right from wrong while they are young and help them make the right decisions. I was a tomboy growing up, I am sure at some point I acted like an animal but that did not mean I wanted to be a boy or that specific animal. It means that I was being a kid. I think parents forget that they are parents and want to just agree with what their kids ask.

Secondly, let’s not forget about the mental health crisis in this county. Many times i see people that would stand up to debate Charlie and you can clearly see they have a mental health issue. That is where our focus should be, helping these kids navigate through their mental health problems and not put a bandaid on it by letting them do what they want. When I was in nursing school, mental health is something that became a passion of mine. I do not believe kids have proper guidance and need someone to lean on. So let’s start calling it like it is and help these kids make the right decisions while they navigate this world.

Lastly, after Charlie was assassinated, it lit a fire in me. I daily pray for boldness, courage, confidence, wisdom, and discernment. I feel like this is what I needed to fully step out in my faith by telling people truth and not caring if it hurts their feelings because if they get offended, that is on them not on me. My job as a warrior for the Kingdom of Heaven is to spread truth and love. Because I do not want anyone to go the hell and that is what Charlie was doing while on this earth. This post is to honor him and is the start of the rebranding of my heart.

ABBA, I come to you with a heart full of boldness. I come to you with gratitude that I have been awaken from my slumber and ready to fully go out and spread Your message for all those willing to listen. ABBA, I ask that you use me as Your vessel and Your solider. Lord just like in Isaiah, I come to you saying “Lord here I am, send me!!!” I am ready ABBA with my full amor, ready to serve Your kingdom. Let every move I make and every word I say be that of Yours and not mine. ABBA I pray for all of those reading this, for those lost, for those unsure, and for those lukewarm. Bring me in their presence so that You may use me to save them. Lord I especially pray for the Kirk family as they have to navigate this world without Charlie. I pray for those involved in it and I pray for those celebrating it. God have mercy on their souls. ABBA I love you and pray for Your continuation of love and guidance. I pray this all in Jesus name, Amen.
