My Protector

Wanted to share a little truth talk and just share something that I am experiencing right now. I have never been the type that likes to be alone. Throughout my life, I have felt like those around me tend to leave or not be there for me when I need them the most. So when I am alone, I tend to get in my head and I have a very vivid imagination. My mind can tend to be my prison because I tend to think worse case scenario or if I am in a situation I look for an escape route. On top of my husband working nights, I am dealing with some personal issues that I am seeking on how to handle the situation.

So where do I go from here? While I write this post, I have my headphones on listening to worship music. Filling myself with worship music and His Word is important when I am in the pit. I share this to show that no one has a perfect life. I am a follower of Christ, that alone is a target for the enemy to attack. But will I let him win, NOT A CHANCE! This is the moment when I have to put on my full armor of God and battle against the enemy and send him to the pits of hell where he belongs. God’s Word says in Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” He never leaves our side! Psalm 18:39 “you armed with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me.” The enemy likes to use things against us that he knows will work, but we have to immediately rebuke it and turn to God. He is our hope and savior. Reaching out to community to bring them in to pray with you is also important because there is power when more than one is praying for the same thing.

So I leave you with this hope, no situation you are in is too small for God. If you are scared to confess of your sins, I have news for you God already knows! There is nothing you do that He does not know or nothing that would make Him not love you. He just wants you to free yourself from the bondages by confessing your sin to Him and setting yourself free. Jesus did not die on the cross for you to live a life that is full of brokenness and sadness. I guarantee if you align yourself with Him, all bets are off the enemy done lost his grip.

Father God, I come to you with a fighting heart. Father, I pray for your peace in my heart right now father and any presence of depression or anxiety has to flee in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, I invite you in my heart to fill up every part of it. Settle my thoughts and give me a sound mind. Father I declare the battle already won because just as Your Word says You are with me to fight this battle. But through you, the victory is already won. I pray for peace and joy for all those reading this post right now father. I pray that they feel your presence and align themselves with you Father. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
